The Producer – a shiny, black Bar Crusher 730HT – was the Hook, Line and Sinker boat for the 2016 and 2017 television series… and now it could be yours!
This tricked-up Fishing Weapon has taken the boys right up and down Australia’s east coast and featured in many episodes of the popular TV show, which airs on 7mate and Fox Sports.
The Producer’s crowning glory came when the boys set-off to achieve the ‘Hook, Line and Sinker Billfish Grand Slam’. This meant catching a blue marlin, black marlin, striped marlin and a broadbill swordfish all from the 730HT. The boys managed to achieve this – fishing on their own for a lot of the time and proving just how good Bar Crushers are as offshore fishing boats.
Along with all the standard Bar Crusher features and some factory-fitted options, The Producer comes with a Humminbird Helix 12 sounder with a 1kw Airmar transducer, Fusion bluetooth stereo, under-seat Engel fridge/freezer, Muir drum winch and more.
Powered by a Yamaha F250 with fly-by-wire controls and digital gauge, this 730HT has a top speed of 40kt while delivering outstanding fuel economy throughout the rev range. The boat has a tick over 300 hours on the engine, so it’s barely even run in!
With a 36V Minn Kota Ulterra electric outboard motor fitted to the bow, you can also spot lock on top of fish in water that’s not suitable for anchoring, or creep along silently while chasing spooky fish in shallow water.
The Hook, Line and Sinker boys have recently upgraded to a 780HT for their current production, which will see them tow their new Bar Crusher right the way around Australia, fishing at many locations and meeting some interesting characters along the way! Stay tuned for that one!
